Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MOKSHAKA FARMS, a sole proprietorship of Dr. Shweta Joshi (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-MH-20-0338292) (“we”) handles personal data collected through vetvedics.com, WhatsApp, phone and email. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. What we collect

• Details you give us: your name, mobile number, email, delivery address, village or town, and the type of business (for dealer enquiries).
• Details about your animals that you choose to share so we can suggest a product, such as species, number of animals and feeding.
• Order records: what you bought, when, the amount and the delivery status.
• Payment confirmation: online payments are handled by the payment gateway. We receive only a confirmation and a transaction reference, never your card or bank credentials.
• Technical data: our hosting provider records basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the website secure and running. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

2. Why we use it

• To confirm, pack, deliver and support your orders, and to answer your questions.
• To give product-selection and feeding guidance when you ask for it.
• To keep the invoices, tax and accounting records the law requires.
• With your consent, to send you product updates and seasonal care tips. You can stop these at any time by replying “STOP” on WhatsApp or by emailing us.

We use your data only for these purposes, on the basis of your consent or because it is needed to fulfil your order or comply with law.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share only what is needed with:

• courier and logistics partners, to deliver your order;
• payment gateways, to process payments and refunds;
• service providers that run our website (Cloudflare), email and messaging (WhatsApp, operated by Meta);
• our accountants, and government authorities when the law requires it.

The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when you visit.

4. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and invoice records are kept for the period that tax and accounting laws require. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted within 24 months.

5. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
• ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it);
• nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
• raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

6. Security

The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS. Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to serve you.

7. Children

This website and our products are meant for adults buying for their animals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
